Been pondering over my camera purchase for a very very long while... Many cameras came across my mind..
Was previously looking at Canon S90, Panasonic LX3, then sometimes have thoughts about getting a Pentax DSLR K-X.
I really thought hard about this.. I don't want to get a camera that has everything that i don't use. Budget was a big constraint to me as well.
So i decide to look around forums & hear what ppl are saying.. Then one day, i found a gem lurking among them all..
A model called the Panasonic LZ10 came into my knowledge & as with any gadget purchase, i went to find out more about it. Some ppl compares it to a budget LX3.

After reading some good reviews & feedback on it, i decided to get it for the following reasons.
- Its very very value for money. (Managed to get it at Best Denki Century Square for $179.00 inclusive of a free 8gb Class 4 SD card)
- The picture quality far exceeds my expectations for its price point.
- The camera has full manual controls. (This allow a noob in photography to learn the ropes first before splurging on a DSLR)
- Night shots looks decent as compared to other PNS camera.
- It runs on AA batteries. (Pros & Cons but i leaning towards this as AA batteries will not be obsolete & when holidaying & battery runs low. Just drop by the nearest 7-11 to get a fresh pair)
